STANDING RULES

Standing rules shall be amended by a majority vote of the members eligible to vote and who are present at a regular meeting of the membership.

1.	Membership Dues
	Active: Sustaining:  Associate:    Corporate: $  40.00 $  50.00 $  75.00  $100.00
2.	Committee chairs who have budgets must stay within their designated budgeted amounts and must reapply to the board if they anticipate exceeding those amounts. Any expenditure exceeding the budgeted amount must be approved by the Board. Committee chairs who do not have budgets must submit an accounting of planned expenses to the board for approval before funds are spent. Any expenditure exceeding the budgeted amount by $500 must be approved by the general membership.
3.	Active, Sustaining and Associate members shall support the Annual Fundraiser as designated by the General Board of Directors by attending, and/or donating financially or contributing in-kind services.
4.	All active members are expected to actively serve and support the Garden Tour, Kids Art Show, Holiday Tea and any future events
5.	Any use of our roster by an organization or individual is prohibited.
6.	Individuals acting as official representatives of FRIENDS must be paid members in good standing.
7.	Upon the death of a member, or a spouse of a member, $100 or $50 respectively, will be donated to the Growth & Development Fund.
