MEMBERSHIP

 

Friends of East County Arts, Inc. is an organization whose purpose is to encourage the development, growth, and opportunity to participate in the visual, and performing arts for schools and organizations, in the Greater East County area by providing funds, materials, and support. Our activities include fundraising with a winter holiday tea, Blarney Bunco, and Toast to The Arts.

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS

We have regular meetings each month.  
General membership meetings are held  at different locations depending on the nature of the program for that month. Meetings may be held at a member’s home or at another location. On occasion we do have a luncheon.

BOARD MEETINGS

4th Thursday of the Month (except 3rd Thursday in November)
9:00 a.m. - Social   |   9:30 a.m. - Meeting (Unless otherwise noted)

Classes of Membership and Dues 

  1. Active · $50 annual dues · May vote, may serve on committees, may hold an executive office, shall support all fundraisers, & shall attend at least 3 general meetings.

  2. Sustaining · $60 annual dues · MUST HAVE SERVED AT LEAST 10 CONSECUTIVE YEARS AS AN ACTIVE MEMBER, may vote, shall support all fundraisers, may hold an executive office, & may serve on committees.

  3. Associate · $75 annual dues · May vote, shall support all fundraisers, may not hold an executive office, may attend all meetings & activities.

  4. Corporate · $100 annual dues · Represents a business that wishes to support our goals, may vote, may hold an executive office, may serve on committees & may attend all meetings & activities.

  5. Lifetime Honorary Member · NO annual dues ·  Are selected by a 2/3 vote of the executive board present, may not serve on the executive board, may vote, may serve on committees. Lifetime membership is permanent. Honorary membership requires a yearly vote.
